National grid status

Live alert level for each of the three grids operated by NGCP, the national transmission grid operator.

๐Ÿ”„
NGCP operates the national transmission grid, the high-voltage backbone that carries power across Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. When supply on a grid runs thin, NGCP raises a yellow or red alert, and those alerts are what trigger the rotational brownouts your distribution utility then schedules. So a red alert here is the early warning behind an outage at VECO, MECO or your own electric cooperative.
All grids normal. No alerts.Loading live grid status from NGCP...

How to read this page

A yellow alert means the operating margin between available power and demand has thinned. A red alert means supply is short of demand and rotational brownouts may be ordered. NGCP does not switch off your street directly. It signals the distribution utilities (VECO, MECO, your electric cooperative), and they decide the rotation. Grid status here is compiled from NGCP's public Facebook posts and may lag the official announcement. Always verify with NGCP before making decisions.
